The United Nations has issued a stark warning to the warring sides in Yemen’s conflict over civilian deaths. The world’s so-called ‘forgotten war’ has killed more than 10,000 people, many of them civilians. The UN says that over the past month alone, at least 49 civilians lost their lies in a string of indiscriminate shelling attacks on public spaces and markets as Iran-allied Houthi forces battle a Saudi-led Arab alliance.
